"Computer science is as much about computers as astronomy is about telescopes"

- Edsgar Dijkstra

A little about myself

An intrinsic fascination with creating possibilities, projects and ideas on computers has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. A childhood friend and I wrote our first program on his Apple II in our early teens, and I've been hooked on the possibilities of computer science ever since.

I have an ability to dissect complex information and lay it out simply in layman's terms, and am as adept at envisioning and creating as I am at interfacing with various layers of companies and projects.

I grew up in Canmore, Alberta, and achieved my degree in Computer Science at the University of Calgary in 2004. Entrepreneurial and enthusiastic, I worked with friends to establish my first Internet venture at the age of 18.

Since then, I've continued to forge new fields and grow my knowledge via the creation of new applications and a determination to be on top of the latest emerging technologies. I was instrumental in creating a now patented technology for Aftercad Software and have developed a number of successful of web technologies and platforms.

I thrive in a fast paced, idea-focused environment and am able to wear a number of hats simultaneously. I am eager to challenge myself and forge new territories and very much look forward to working with you.

one2one

One2one is an opensource project that I started at source forge. One2one is a database transformation tool. The tool allows for easy transformation of data from one source to another. Take general data descriptions and map them into complex table hierarchies of any major database vendors. Click here to goto sourceforge and download the project code.
